EeStairs + Atelier Flow

We collaborated with Atelier Flow, an interior architecture firm from Paris, on the design of a duplex office on the 8th floor of an office building in the European district of Brussels. The building was extended with a timber frame structure and large windows, allowing sunlight to create a dynamic play of colors throughout the day. Atelier Flow translated this interplay of shadows and colors into a subtle combination of materials that both support and energize the workspace.

This spiral staircase received a unique treatment from EeStairs. With our EeSoffit™ solution, the curving shape of the underside of the staircase was accentuated. The staircase is finished in a Christal Grey 2K metallic paint, which beautifully captures the sunlight. To achieve this flawless result, we built a special tent with ventilation and extraction around the staircase, allowing the work to proceed without disruption.

Additionally, we fitted the wall cladding with steel frames and a custom-made handrail, where architectural mesh was integrated, as seen in the images. This required precision engineering to seamlessly incorporate the slim frames along with doors and technical access panels. Despite the tight timeline and the need to coordinate with other construction teams, an impressive final result was achieved.
