By placing you at the heart of the design decisions you can create exactly the staircase you want for your home. From dimensions and colours, to a wide range of detailing and delivery, you choose.

All you need to do is follow our easy step-by-step configurator, with helpful videos and guides if you need them, to build a 1m2™ that can be tailored to fit any interior or exterior plan and that’s your perfect fit.

Let’s get personal

There are four main areas of customisation for the 1m2™. Each of them features in the online configurator.

1 — Rotation. There are good reasons to carefully choose whether you want your 1m2™ to rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise, the main one being the position of nearby walls. If there’s a wall on the right, a clockwise rotation gives more room to step on to the stairs. If there’s a wall on the left, counter-clockwise gives more space. If there are no walls, pick the rotation that looks and feels best.

Your chosen rotation may also affect entry and exit points, so make sure there’s good clearance at the top and bottom for smooth access.

2 — Colour. Do you want your 1m2™ to fit in with an existing colour scheme? Be part of an understated look? Provide a pop of exuberance?

With over 200 RAL* colours to choose from, plus a stylish limited edition collection of metallic finishes exclusive to EeStairs, you will be able to select exactly what you’re looking for. These limited edition colours are periodically revised to reflect evolving trends in interior design.

3 — Dimensions. The standard footprint of the 1m2™ is, not surprisingly, 1 m². However, the width and depth can be adjusted down to 0.8m if your space is particularly tight, or up to 1.25m if you would like it wider. You can also choose from a floor-to-ceiling height range between 2m and 3.6m.

4 — Detailing. Customisation of your 1m2™ continues with a wide range of supplementary options and add-ons.

Your 1m2™ can be supplied as one piece or as two pieces that are fitted together at the time of installation. The one piece option is suitable where there is easy and spacious access to the property and the installation site. The two piece option is a better choice if access is limited.

Further options to customise your 1m2™ include safety features such as the addition of void balustrades around the sides of the stairwell at the top of the stairs and riser bars that are fitted above each tread to reduce the gap between.

You can also choose to exclude the anti-skid plugs for a more minimalist look and sit the top of your stair at a lower level for attic and roof hatches.
