This simple, clever design only ever takes up a square meter of floor space, meaning it can be fitted into any number of areas, with minimal disruption. You can make it a focal point with a bold colour or ask it to sit quietly in the background, its perfect spiral and aesthetic adding just enough.

How 1m2™ Works

The magic of the 1m2™ is in the unique angled central column, which allows the staircase to track round in a smaller circumference than a conventional spiral staircase. And, although the standard footprint is 1m², the width and depth can be adjusted down to 0.8m or up to as much as 1.25m. Equally, the staircase can be configured to fit most floor-to-ceiling heights between 2m and 3.6m.

With such a compact staircase, all sorts of previously inaccessible or tricky areas of your home and garden become interesting opportunities for change. Access to your attic might currently be difficult or complicated – or both! But with the 1m2™ taking up so little space, you could create a completely new entryway from another, more suitable area. Simple Specification

Ordering your 1m2™ is easily completed online. Our configurator requires you or your contractor to supply us with measurements and specifications and then you choose which colour and finish you would like.

As you input your information, you will see an updating visualisation of your 1m2™, with an option to view it in your home environment with Augmented Reality. Costs and delivery details are then calculated, with an option to Go Faster! with our priority delivery. Then we, with the invaluable help of our robot Lassie, get to work on your 1m2™, delivering your unique staircase a few weeks later.

Developed to be able to adapt to any configuration, Lassie’s sophisticated technology has dramatically improved the turnaround time for the manufacture of each product. Processes are now more efficient and precise, and we are moving ever closer to our goals for a more sustainable future at EeStairs.

Rapid Installation

Installation is very straightforward. The staircase, which is precision-made in steel, can be fitted by you or your chosen contractor, and it takes two people about two hours to securely lock it into position.
