Cells™ stairs by EeStairs are an exclusive innovation that combines art and geometry in a truly unique way. The organic, flowing, and open-weave design of Cells™ steel balustrades originates from computer-generated Voronoi patterns.
As a result, no two Cells™ balustrades are alike. These balustrades form a strong, integrated structure alongside the stringers, stair treads, and/or floor edges, ensuring both stability and a distinct aesthetic appeal.
Designers have the flexibility to choose the density and shape of the cells, whether opting for polygons, bubble patterns, or a variety of cell sizes to create balustrades with a monumental, delicate, or elegant feel.

– Shapes: Cells™ balustrades can be designed in a wide range of forms, including straight, curved, spiral, oval, or asymmetrically radiused, offering maximum design versatility.
– Style: Cells™ balustrades provide a stylish and artistic effect, perfect for enhancing the visual appeal of any space.
– Unique: Every Cells™ balustrade is unique, with no two patterns being the same, ensuring that each installation is a one-of-a-kind piece.
Cells™ stairs can be customized similarly to other bespoke stair designs by EeStairs. The balustrades with Cells™ structures can be seamlessly and securely attached to steel stringers, floor edges, and both metal and wood stair treads.
In addition to the steel balustrades featuring irregularly shaped polygonal cells or bubble patterns, they can be factory-painted in any RAL color or treated with different patination processes. Designers can specify the size of the cells, such as smaller cells at the base of a balustrade that gradually transition into larger, more open cells, or an array of small and medium-sized cells to create a more monumental appearance.
Cells™ stairs can also be designed with a ‘dual design’ concept: for example, a glass, wood, or solid metal balustrade on one side of the treads, and a Cells™ balustrade on the other. This allows for a striking contrast in materials and styles, enhancing both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the staircase.
Because Cells™ balustrades are made of steel, designers can specify a tighter radius on the stringers without compromising the structural strength of the staircase. This ensures that even the most intricate designs maintain their integrity and durability.
